Kinetics Model KNM Loaded Limp Mass Barrier Vinyl is used for enclosing noise sources, either draped around equipment, suspended between equipment and quiet areas, or lagged to the equipment casing. KNM is highly effective as crosstalk barriers and boosts soundproofing performance of ceilings, walls, and floors.Perfect for noise reduction between floors in Home Theaters, Condos, Duplexes, and Town Houses. KNM Vinyl Barrier Materials can be used effectively to lag piping systems, reducing valves, etc., and are highly effective as crosstalk barriers and septums. Our vinyl barrier materials are available in 1/2 psf to 1 psf (2.5 to 4.9 kg/m2 ) surface weight, in 4.5' wide x 30' and 4.5' wide x 60' long rolls, with acoustical ratings of STC-21 to STC-26.
KNM Acrylic Seam Tape come in rolls of 1 7/8" x 165' in length and is perfect for taping seams of Mass loaded Vinyl.
